Sunrise Senior Living and Border's Books are partnering with pain coach, psychotherapist and author Rebecca Rengo-Kocher MSW, LCSW to host a series of free community talks and book signings of Ms. Rengo-Kocher's book Beyond Chronic Pain: A get-well guidebook to soothe the body, mind and spirit. Sunrise will also have free book drawings for those in attendance. A portion of the sales from Sunrise will benefit The Missouri Pain Initiative, a 501c(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the lives of people in pain through advocacy and education.

The book signings are open to the public and will be held in the following locations on these dates:


  • January 16: Sunrise Senior Living, 1880 Clarkson Road, Chesterfield - 2 p.m.

  • January 17: Sunrise Senior Living, 7920 Clayton Road, Richmond Heights - 3 p.m.

  • January 18: Sunrise Senior Living, 13460 Manchester Road, Des Peres - 4 p.m.

  • January 20: Border's Books, 11745 Olive Blvd., Creve Coeur - 2 p.m.

  • January 27: Border's Books, 1320 Mid Rivers Mall, St. Peters - 2 p.m.
